Not the greatest photograph. The lighting isn't very dramatic, the background is very uninteresting and the face is too airbrushed, it looks very flat. I feel like in a plain photograph like this you should play up her face more to have something to grad the viewers attention and maybe a better hairstyle. The hair is very flat and heavy looking. Its a good start though. Play around with clothing to add interest in the photos as well.
It is sad that so many are bashing the model in this photograph - the alterations, even the look on her face. Others the genre of nude art in general. It seems there is this continuing debate about whether this is "art" or not. Well, 718 people seem to think enough of it to fav it, and over 18,000 have looked at it. If you don't like it, then perhaps you should keep it to yourself, since every added comment, negative or not, adds to the DA popularity meter for this image.
There is good color and composition in this image. I do think that the de-saturated version [link] is overall more appealing, if only because the lack of color makes it seem a bit less sexually oriented (to me, and don't ask me why that is, I have no idea).
Let's all give these people a break and say something nice so the negativity moves down and off the page.
Strange comments here. I see no evidence of either plastic surgery, or air brushing. There's a lot going on re: light and shadows, but I doubt any wrinkles were removed. She appears very young and supple. The shadows in crotch/ hip area could use some more light, which is why I know this was not heavily retouched. Nude photography is not as easy as people think, which is why this is posted as artistic nude. Just because a woman is depicted completely nude doesn't make a photo porn. The pose itself is the main element of this photo.
Self indulgent, brainless and attention seeking imagery, based on zero talent. Why not learn a skill and actively offer the world something constructive...? Yet another pussy, another pair of tits and another desperate female, crying for the attention her Daddy never gave her.
The photo is about a nude model who had a very obvious but also bad breast augmentation, which probably wouldn't have been so bad should she have chosen a different method and kind but that's only if there was anything there to work with from the start but considering she looks like a child, probably not and thus why it's so stretched and strained and oddly shaped and placed. There is a reason why Plastic Surgeons often tell women to wait when they are 21 when their body has completed development because if a woman gets surgery and her body is still growing, it can have adverse effects.
Anyone can tell there has been photo manipulation, this IS deviant art after all, it's sort of what people are actually supposed to discuss. It's okay for photos to be airbrushed, most due, this however was over done. Note the fact that she is making a face but she has no muscle movement to indicate this, that would be because they airbrushed away all of the natural occurring lines and contouring. Even a small child making this face would have crinkles from squinting their eyes, their nose would have crinkles and the lips, cupid's bow and the laugh lines would be more pronounced. The over airbrushed effect only makes it look like she has no facial muscles. She's supposed to be a human being, not a 2D cartoon.
Unlike "Hot" or "Sexy" comments because the person posted this picture isn't even the person in the photograph.
Dumb horny losers forget that this is an art website, and the models usually aren't the DeviantArt members so stop assuming people are attacking the model. It's supposed to be the photographs job to make the pose and expression less... stuff and the airbrush overkill probably wasn't the models fault either.
Although I do hope she's not a kid, the poor breast implants could have been chosen better and it can be blamed on her. You're supposed to check out all these factors before getting the surgery, let's not forget checking the doctors education, recommendations, "Portfolio" and thoroughly research and discuss before actually going under the knife, so you don't end up with boobs that look like someone put a toy ball underneath your skin.
